This week’s fashionably loud files checked in with Electric Violinist Linzi Stoppard. The stunningly beautiful violinist is one half of the electric violin duo FUSE. Internationally known for her one of a kind sound, Linzi’s live performances have garnered over 500,000,000 viewers worldwide. The classically trained violinist got an early start in music at the tender age of four while attending the Suzuki Violin School.
Internationally known for her unique sound and ability to blaze the stage while appealing to both electronic and rock fans alike, Linzi has successfully linked the hypnotic sound of the electric violin with the edgy sound of the electric guitar. As a solo artist, Linzi Stoppard has managed to intertwine several musical genres with her eclectic sounds including dance and contemporary. Now, with her own band FUSE, Linzi is bringing even more dynamics to the music scene, performing around the globe.
We had the opportunity to take a listen to Glorious, an energetic performance delivered by FUSE. This moving arrangement has mass appeal and demonstrates FUSE’s musical innovation and versatility. The sound, while having classical conventions, incorporates a strong contemporary vibe that makes for a great listen and awesome dance hit. Check out Glorious performed by Linzi Stoppard and bandmate Ben Lee of FUSE.
